We’re Fivetwenty Marketing, founded by Phoebe, a senior marketing professional with 15 years’ experience across a mix of industries including music, tech, education and gaming. With experience both in-house and agency side, across B2B and B2C, we’ve seen marketing from pretty much every angle.

You see all these weird and wonderful names but with no explanation as to why.
So let me tell you why we’re called Fivetwenty.
The name is a play on the military term 5s and 20s. Definition: In the military, this refers to checking the five-metre radius, and then the 20-metre radius so that one has a complete idea of their immediate surroundings. It can also refer to someone who’s got a keen observation of their environment.
As our founder’s partner and father (obviously separate people!) are both veterans and you have to constantly be aware of your environment when it comes to marketing, the name came pretty easily.
Just like the military and it’s family, Fivetwenty is resilient and adaptable.
